Gain a BTEC sports qualification through Charlton Athletic Community Trust's NEW study programme.
The study programme, open to 16-18 year olds, is a full time course covering the following three fields, which aim to enhance your opportunity of moving into paid employment:

Work Placement:

This will be a significant element of the qualification giving you an experience of the working environment and what is required of local employers to help the young person's journey into paid employment.
Support for travel will be available.


Programmes of study and levels:


BTEC in Sport


Achieve a nationally recognised level 1 or 2 sports qualification to help develop your CV for work in the leisure sector. This section includes units such as taking part in sport, assisting at a sports event, working in sport and active leisure and physical activities for children.

Functional Skills


The study programme is designed to help the client raise his/her attainment in English and maths (depending on prior attainment), with A-C being recognised nationally as an important requirement of employers.
