We provide care and education for all children and our experienced Senco's will work with families and professionals to ensure the needs of each and every child are met regardless of special educational need or disability.
The setting has a strong key person approach. Parents are welcomed to join their child and key person for settling in sessions prior to starting at the nursery.
Key person's speak to parents daily and share childrens developments.
For children who need any support the nursery Senco can introduce support strategies, Targeted Plans and Personalised Plans . The Senco can access to the LA LIFT meetings (attended every 6 weeks in term time) and Specialist Teaching Services (who come out upon request) and can make referrals to health professionals such as Speech and Language, Health Visitors and other relevant therapists.
We actively encourage parents to liaise with key persons about any concerns they may have or to ask to meet with their child's key person to on achievements or areas of development.
We offer planned parent sharing sessions where the end of term Unique Stories will be shared.
The setting provides a range of activities and experiences to meet the individual needs of each child. Key persons plan around childrens needs.
Information will be shared with parents at handovers or at parent sharing sessions.

The building is all one level and has full disability access
The open plan car park has dropped curbs for full access.
We offer transitions with local schools through a range of child led activities such as role play, story telling, sharing photo books / boards.
Local teachers are invited to come and meet the children before they start school and join us for story time and planned activities.
