Seashells Children's Centre - What's On Guide

TUESDAY


Baby Hub - 9am - 11.00am


The new baby hubs provide an opportunity to speak with a member of the health visiting team for advice and support on topics such as infant feeding, behaviour, sleep and healthy weights. This is a drop in


A Breastfeeding support Group is also be available 9.00-11.00am with Health Visitors on hand to offer support and ask any questions. No need to book just tun up.


 


Bubba Club - 9am - 11.00am


Play session for under 1's. Each week has a different activity which will include: Treasure Baskets, Sensory Play etc


Sing a long session at 10.45am each week 


 


Aquatots - Session 1 9.30am - 10.30am / Session 2 10.30am - 11.30am (Term Time Only)


at Sheerness Swimming Pool - off The Broadway, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1HH


Discounted stay and play swimming sessions. Come along and get your children used to the water in a friendly environment with lots of toys to play with and support from the staff and volunteers. 


£2 per child with up to 2 Parents / Carers FREE!


Contact us to register for your membership card which costs £2 to join. You will receive a free swimming bag. Applications for Aquatots Membership cards need to be made in person at Seashells Reception


  


Book Stall Tuesday & Friday 9am - 2.30pm


Brand new, famous titles for amazing prices. Look out for special promotions during book weeks. Title’s include The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Gruffalo, We’re going on a Bear Hunt, Stick Man and many more! Prices range from £1 - £3


 


Wiggles & Giggles - 1pm - 2.30pm (Term Time only)


at The Community Church Sheppey (opposite Sheerness Post Office) - Broadway, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1TP


If you and your child like lots of Wiggling and Giggling come along and enjoy a story, cooking, sing songs and rhymes, dance and play with our


parachute and calm down with a gentle craft session at the end.


 


WEDNESDAY


Wacky Wednesday - 1pm - 2.30pm (Term Time only)


at The Community Church Sheppey (opposite Sheerness Post Office) - Broadway, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1TP


Wacky’s lives up to its name. It is a very lively group with a selection of new toys to play with every week. We have a craft area, a messy play area, a book corner and a baby play area. After an hour playing we sit as a group and healthy snack, a story and finish with a couple of songs.


 


THURSDAY


Play & Giggles 1pm - 2.30pm (Term Time only)


FOR BABIES FROM BIRTH TO TODDLERS UP TO 24 MONTHS.


A stimulating social group perfect for exploring the world around them while providing learning opportunities for babies and toddlers to play and develop new skills. Tummy Time activities - Learn ways to enjoy tummy time with your baby in a safe and comfortable environment.


FRIDAY


Funtime Friday 9.30am - 11am (Term Time only)


A fun social group run by parents, lots of indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, song time and a healthy snack provided.

Baby Massage 10.30am - 11.30am ( 4 weeks Courses ) - Booking Essential.


Quiet time to bond with your baby. Massage helps to boost babies immune system, helps you and your baby learn how to relax. It can promote longer, deeper sleep for your baby and therefore for you.
