Our staffs are well trained up to NVQ level and have experienced looking after older adults and physical frailties that accompany old age including dementia care.

We ensure that the care delivered is of high standard by auditing our services (clients satisfaction survey, residents meeting, risk assessment, medication audit, monthly care plan review, relative feedback, one-to-one discussion with resident). We investigate all incidents and we report any significant incidents to KCC and CQC and above all we are an open and transparent organisation.

 All our care plans are person centred by ensuring the clients and / or their relatives are involved in drawing up their care plans.

  • Visiting chiropodist

  • Visiting complementary therapist

  • Visiting hairdresser


The room are spacious and residents are allowed to personalise their room as they wish. We ensure that their privacy is respected at all times. All rooms are accessed to TV point and private phone access can be arranged.

 Each floor has a lounge where resident can access them at any time they wish to do so. The resident can use it for any purpose whether to watch DVD, have game of dominoes, art/painting et cot to receive their visitors. In addition to these 3 lounges we have got a conservatory where the resident can remove themselves to if they wish to have some private time for reading or meeting their visitors. We encourage resident to exercise their autonomy, freedoms and rights as much as possible.

 All our meals are freshly cooked in house by our chef. There are a number of choices from the menu for the resident to choose from and even if they do not like what’s on the menu the chef will ensure other alternatives are available to the individual. Aquarius Lodge is very much person centred and the activities around the home evolve around them, after all it is their home.
