Abbey Physic Community Garden - A healing space for all.

The Abbey Physic Community Garden offers support to people with mental health issues, to gain confidence, coping strategies, increase resilience, reduce isolation and to be part of their community.

People can choose to take part in the up-keep of this award winning garden, join Faversham Men`s Shed, learn healthy eating ending in a shared mealin our community kitchen, be part of our Ground Force Action Team - bee keeping, wild meadows and ponds, craft activites, or Horticulture training - Learn how to grow.

Coping with Stress and Anixety or Coping with Depression sessions run by Mind and weekly peer support. Or just come and relax. There is something for everyone.

The Abbey Physic Community Garden is a half acre walled garden in the heart of Faversham. Located down an alley from St Marys Church or a five minute walk from Faversham train station.

Open Mon, Tuesday (horticulture only) Wed, Thursday and Friday 9am - 2pm and Saturdays 11am - 3pm.

Drop in/ social sessions every day except Tuesdays

Please contact the garden or download membership form from the website. Placements are given after an initial assessment for suitability, reviewed at 6 weeks and then 3 monthly for continued suitability.

People must be able to work independantly without instruction. If support is required this must be provided.
