‘Swanley Youth Hub runs the Sevenoaks District Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) – Open Access Unit where young people from aged 14 – 25 can enrol on either the Bronze, Silver or Gold level DofE Award. Please see for more information about the award including timescales and requirements.

We benefit from a stock of Group Equipment which participants can borrow such as, rucksacks, tents, trangias and sleeping bags which should assist in ensuring as many people as possible can participate. There is a registration fee and subscription for the course but this would not be a barrier to participation.

The Unit drop in runs from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on the 1st Thurday of every month at the Swanley Youth Hub however given the diverse geographical nature of Sevenoaks District, other times to drop in to the Swanley Youth Hub and undertake the training and support can be arranged with enrolled participants.
