As a registered charity, we support vulnerable men and women in our local area, most often at our Day Centre on Knightrider Street, Maidstone. We operate both food bank, mental health support and deliver life skills sessions.
Goodsell House supports 10 clients in supported accommodation.
Formed in 1986, we retain our links with the local churches who have supported our work from the beginning.
Based at Knightrider St, we offer:
1. emergency respite from the street – a shower, hot meal, and laundry available while our team connect rough sleepers to the appropriate support services
2. create individual support plans – to put bespoke action plans in place to help people transition away from rough sleeping or temporary accommodation
3. life skills courses – to give those in temporary accommodation the tools to find work and a permanent home
