As part of the Southeast Kids Camps’s policy to make sure that its provision meets the needs of each individual child, to achieve this we have an established SEND policy aligned to The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2001), which allows us to take account of any special needs a child may have. We ask the parents/guardians for full disclosure of a child’s needs, it is essential to this relationship’s success and critically the child’s safety, therefore on the registration form we do ask for an honest and full disclosure. Where the defined requirement of the child is in excess of the ability of the club to assist, Southeast Kids Camps will liaise with the parents, carer and school to outline our limitations which may not always be in the best interest of the child. This honesty does in no way alter our full commitment to equality for all, but where an honest discussion is required we will not hesitate to engage the full support team. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns
