Description

I hold all relevant qualifications including paediatric first aid.safeguarding, food hygiene.

I follow the eyfs and I ensure activities available are accessible to all.parents receive regular photos and messages to show their children's progress. I use trackers to update the children's next steps and provide parents with a copy for themselves.

Special Needs Support

During initial meetings I discuss with parents where they  believe their child is at developmentally currently to give me an idea of starting points I also give them a blank age related tracker to fill in at home.

I update via WhatsApp and babysdays if any concerns arise I will ask parents to come in for a chat.

Activities planned would be arranged to be accessible to all children in my care.

All children have different needs so I would adapt to meet each child's individual needs.

Plans will be made with parents/carers to ensure the support provided meets the individuals needs to benefit the child with their progress.

Photos and observations are added to babysdays and or WhatsApp regularly to update with the child's progress.

I undertake risk assessments for each outing and activity these would be adjusted as to the child's needs.

The house has 1 step to enter and also 2 steps to the main outdoor play space. I do have a downstairs toilet.

Transition reports are provided for the new setting/school before they start.

I send annual questionnaires to parents/carers to provide feedback on the effectiveness of the care I provide I also offer the opportunity for parents to discuss this with me at any time.

Amy Walker.

Annual questionnaires there is also a compliments section to babysday.
