Kent Training & Apprenticeships

Kent Training & Apprenticeships has been established for over 30 years and over this time has become the leading work-based training provider in Kent, providing training solutions to both companies and individuals across the county. We offer the following:

Apprenticeships

KT&A training is delivered by experts in your chosen industry. We make sure you get the right skills to begin building your career. We help match you to an employer who gives you on-the-job training and pays your wages. Depending on the qualification you are working towards, you may also attend one of our centres each week for additional training. We offer two levels of Apprenticeship - Intermediate and Advanced. Working with your employer, we'll make sure your training is right for you, gives you the skills you need for the job and that you are trained to nationally recognised standards. Find out more and apply for an Apprenticeship.

KT&A Supported Internships

Step into work with a tailored KT&A Supported Internship. We will help you get into employment by giving you additional support to develop the skills, experience and qualifications that you will need to succeed. We will provide this additional support if you have a Statement of Special Educational Needs, a Learning Difficulty Assessment or an EHC Plan. A KT&A Supported Internship is a tailored programme, based mostly with an employer that will enable you to gain paid employment, with support to help you get the skills that you need through learning in the workplace. You must be aged 16 to 24 and have a Statement of Special Educational Needs, a Learning Difficulty Assessment or an EHC Plan. The programme can last up to 52 weeks. Find out more about KT&A Supported Internships.

Traineeships

Give your career prospects a boost with a tailored Traineeship, offering you real work experience with help and support to gain the skills and confidence to enable you to move onto an Apprenticeship or to increase your chances of securing a job you want.

A Traineeship is a programme tailored to you, with real work experience and accredited English and Maths qualifications (if needed). You must be aged 16 to 24. The programme can last up to 52 weeks. Find out more about Traineeships.
