Canterbury Community Chaplains is a christian based voluntary chaplaincy.

We provide the following: 

  • A listening ear for whosoever wants to talk about thier challenges and stresses of life, in confidence.
  • Spiritual support to those who have been affected by issues of loss, grief, relationship problems, stress of work or unemployment, abuse and violence.
  • Befriending and providing advise.
  • Counselling.
  • Prayer time and thought for the day.

Canterbury Community Chaplaincy aims to:

  • Provide spiritual support and care for those wishing to access Chaplaincy services.
  • Provide pastoral and counselling for those that reuire it, no matter the age.
  • Help build a caring community relationship in the hope of gaining permission to share the Christian faith in a non-judgemental manner. ​
  • Help the homeless, the fatherless, the orphans, the vulnerable, the abused, the bereaved and the refugees to thrive in our community, no matter their diversity.
