We incorporate two meat free meals a week and are able to cater for all meal preferences special diets etc. We provide all inclusive activities and welcome families and children from a wide selection of cultural and ethnic backgrounds respecting their religious, dietary, cultural and family beliefs. We will work in partnership with parents and carers to offer all inclusive care and activities/learning opportunities for children with SEND.  We will work with other agencies to ensure the care we offer is appropriate for the needs of SEND children. We are constantly reviewing the service we offer and ask parents/carers to do this as well.  We offer free funded nursery places for 15-30hours a week.  We also offer FF2 funded places to eligible families.  We love books, story and song time. Music and dance sessions.

Special Needs Support

Firstly we listen to parents and carers.  At interview we will ask parents if their child/ren have any additional needs or disabilities.
we will then work closely with parents/carers to plan an appropriate curriculum within an all inclusive setting seeking advice from outside agencies if additional support is needed.

We carry out daily observations in line with Birth to 5 documentation and carry out 2 year check.  If it becomes apparent that a child may have additional needs we will firstly speak to parents/carers sign posting them to agencies for advice or further assessment or ask their permission to seek support for their child.

transition to school documents will be forwarded onto reception class.

Every six months your child will receive an updated learning journal which we will discuss. This will identify progress and any areas where your child may need additional support

We are always available for a chat about your child's progress and each month you will receive planning so you will be able to see what is planned for your child. We welcome your input and suggestions
