Mid Kent Mind offer a self and welcoming environment designed to promote positive wellbeing within the local community. Our services are varied - ranging from training opportunities, to low-cost counselling, to youth support and, of course, community activities.
Below you will find a summary of some of the services which are currently available.
Community Groups - A mixture of virtual and face-to-face activities focussed around a central wellbeing activity. Activities include but are not limited to Arts & Crafts, Socialising, Cooking and Walking. For more details on all of MKM's Community groups, click here.
Recovery Action Plans - Six Weeks of one-to-one sessions aimed to provide people with realistic and achievable ways in which they can improve their mental health and wellbeing. For more details on our Recovery Action Plans, click here.
Coping with Life Courses - Six Week courses which aim to help people to better understand common mental health problems such as anxiety, stress and depression, and how they can proactively cope with these problems in health ways. For more details on our Coping with Life courses, click here.
Low Cost Counselling - Face-to-face, video or telephone counselling services available for £15 per session. Providing a safe space and time to talk to someone without judgement. For more details on our Low Cost Counselling Service, click here.
