Lullabies

We offer a small, home from home environment within natural surroundings. We provide a unique approach to nursery care where you only pay for the hours you attend, enabling flexibility for shift patterns and everyday life.  We provide hot home-cooked meals throughout the day along with snacks.  Our staff are all DBS checked, first aid trained and very passionate about childcare.  We take walks around our local environment incorporating feeding the ducks, shopping in Sainsbury and enjoying the natural walks along the canal.

We operate an open-door policy so please feel free to pop along and have a look.

Local Offer

Special Needs Support

We work alongside the parent/carer within this area and welcome any outside agency input/aid.  We have had close working relationships with The Beacon, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists.

We talk to parent/carers daily about their child's day along with a home-link book and any required paperwork.

We will adapt the curriculum as required to suit each individual child and their needs.

We have used now and next boards, visual timetables, sensory requirements for each individual child.

We have provided one-to-one care when required, introduced new resources and worked closely with parents.

We currently use the Kent Progress Tracker.

by treating each child individually we are able to cater for all needs and requirements.

The building is designed to allow all children and their families entry.

Each child's transitional path is different and by having a close relationship with the children and their families and the local schools we are able to aim for a smooth transition for all.

As we work closely with families overall effectiveness is discussed at all meetings before moving onto the next step.

we have parental questionnaires in place, we talk to families upon a daily basis, parents voice box for slips of paper, homelink books and parents evenings.
