Hythe Town Dementia Forum and Hythe library are working in partnership to launch a new drop-in group that will support those living with dementia and their carers.
Each session will offer useful information, a variety of tailored activities and the opportunity to talk to experts and peers. The group offers a safe environment and welcoming network of people who understand and can help members of the community affected by dementia.
Hythe Town Dementia Forum has already made great progress in bringing the community and local businesses together to work towards Hythe becoming a dementia-friendly town. This work includes organising events, offering free awareness sessions and now the one-stop-shop library group. Exciting headway is being made in Hythe, owing to the passion and enthusiasm of those involved.
Hythe’s Dementia One-Stop-Shop meets at 10.30am - 12pm at Hythe Library. Sessions are free to attend and refreshments are provided by Hythe Town Dementia Forum.
Sessions will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month between 10.30am - 12pm.
The upcoming dates will be:
6th March, 20th March, 3rd April, 17th April, 1st May, 15th May 2018
