Woodbridge House is a residential service for adults aged 30+ with learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, myotonic dystrophy and varying degrees of cognitive, physical, behavioural and emotional difficulties.
Our aim is to support individuals to achieve their goals, participate in meaningful activities and become more self-sufficient, building on their skills. College courses and life skills activities are available for individuals, should they profess an interest.

Each service user has an individual activity plan tailored around their likes and dislikes to ensure that they participate in meaningful activities, both within the home and in the community. In-house activities include independent living skills, cooking, gardening, art and craft sessions, chiropody and reflexology sessions, games and puzzles, playing snooker or playing on Wii or Wii Fit.
Some service users attend the Adult Education Centre in Chatham and Gillingham and other activities include rebound trampolining, swimming and attending groups, such as Woodlands Mencap Group and the M.A.P.S. service in Walderslade, for people with learning and/or physical disabilities. M.A.P.S. supports two residents on a one-to-one basis each week. These sessions involve expressive communication and intensive interaction and are proving very beneficial to the service users.
